These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Anura platform, website, and related services (the "Service") provided by Anura Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Anura", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be capable of forming a binding contract and, where you use the Service for legal practice, be a duly qualified legal professional or authorised staff. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: violating any law; infringing others' rights; uploading malicious code; attempting to gain unauthorised access; reselling the Service without authorisation; or using it to send unlawful communications.
As between you and Anura, you own your content - your matters, documents, and notes ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host and process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service for you. We process Customer Data in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Residency commitments.
The Service includes AI-assisted and agentic features that monitor courts, draft documents, and prepare materials. These outputs are tools to assist a qualified legal professional and do not constitute legal advice. You remain solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving any draft, filing, date, or action before it is relied upon or submitted to any court or third party. Filing-grade actions require your explicit approval. You must exercise independent professional judgement at all times.
Court information (including next dates, orders, and listings) is sourced from public portals such as the e-Courts system and third-party integrations. While we strive for timeliness and accuracy, we do not guarantee that such information is complete, accurate, or up to date, and you should independently verify critical dates and orders. Anura is not affiliated with or endorsed by any court or government body.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Customer Data, as described on our Security page. You are responsible for configuring access within your organisation appropriately.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anura shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. On termination, you may export your Customer Data for a reasonable period, after which we may delete it in line with our retention practices.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, and the parties may first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion and arbitration where agreed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
